Shanghai sketches

I just got back from Shanghai, helping out at the CCP Asia office. Had a great time with the artists there, including a cool life drawing session one night after work.

Bunch o' new stuff

Some recent pen and ink sketches- a giant turtle fossil from the Tellus Museum in Cartersville, some quick sketches of horses from my Dad's farm and a sketch from memory of the creek at East Cobb Park. The last one is a speed painting of a sky I saw driving home the other night.

Some night sketches

I took a predawn jog with a friend last week through some industrial areas near my house, and we passed these cool scenes on the way. I went back and took some reference shots, then worked up some quick digital sketches.

No more black void

I started this blog last December, and haven't gotten the chance to do much personal work since then. I finally had it with the empty black void, so here's a quick sketch I did back in February. I'll be posting more soon.
